Woodland Hills, CA

Richard Neutra designed residence. The home, built almost sixty years ago, had received little maintenance in that time and the woodwork was in poor condition. We were requested to refinish the woodwork to make it look like well maintained sixty year old wood with a well preserved finish. The entry wall had severe deterioration of its original varnish finish. This we stripped, lightly sanded, stained and re-varnished using our favorite exterior finish- Dutch varnish.

The interior woodwork was also stripped and re-stained to the original color which we found behind the baseboards.
We then sprayed two coats of low sheen lacquer.
