We were asked to replicate the original light boxes designed for the house as during a prior remodel most of the originals had been removed. We contracted a fabricator to build the light boxes and we chemically treated the wood to match the original.
We then treated new wood throughout the house with period correct treatments such as Potassium Dichromate and Ferrous Sulphate.
